णवािदसमु ारात ् तु ा े शू भावानात ।्
शू या परया शा शू तामिे त भरै िव ॥ ३९ ॥

O Bhairavi, one who repeats the Pranava (Aum) perfectly,
while concentrating on the void for protracted periods,
experiences the void, and by that void the transcendental
shakti (is revealed).


िवमते हादिे व शू भतू ं िविचयते ।्
तवै च मनो लीन ं ततयभाजनम ॥् ५८ ॥

O great Goddess, one should concentrate on this universe
as nothing but void. Dissolving the mind also like this, one
then experiences the state of laya, or total dissolution.

Antah śūnyo bahih śūnyah śūnyah kumbha ivāmbare
Antah pūrno bahih pūrnah pūrnah kumbha ivārnave

One should become void in and void out, and void like
a pot in the space. Full in and full outside, like a jar in
the ocean.

Bāhyachintā na kartavyā tathaivāntarachintanam
Sarvachintām parityajya na kimchidapi chintayet

He should be neither of his inside nor of outside world;
and, leaving all thoughts, he should think of nothing.

For all living creatures, a human birth is indeed rare; much more
difficult it is to attain full manhood; rarer than this is a Sattvic
attitude in life.  Even after gaining all these rare chances, to have
steadfastness on the spiritual path as explained in Vedic literature
is yet rarer; much more so to have a correct understanding of the
deep import of the scriptures.  Discrimination between the Real
and the unreal, a personal realization of spiritual Glory and
ultimately to get fully established in the living consciousness that
the Self in me is the Self in all. BUT perfect liberation 
cannot be obtained without the meritorious deeds of many 
millions of well-lived lives.

tatsarvametanmanaso vij®mbhaõam || 170||

In the dream state, even though there is no contact with the
external world, the mind alone projects the entire dream-universe
of enjoyer etc. Similarly, the waking-state is no different.  All this
(world of myriad phenomena), is but a projection of the mind.
